The Perak Turf Club Equestrian Centre has ceased operations. We knew it was closing, but were hoping against hope that the Perak Turf Club would have a change of heart and that it would stay in operation.
Coach Imtaz posted on Facebook page that he tried his best to keep it going but was unable to save the Equestrian Centre. He is still trying to keep equestrian sport going in Ipoh by setting up a riding school at the National Stud Farm. We hope to bring you more information on that soon.
In its heyday, the The Perak Turf Club Equestrian Centre hosted FEI CSI-W World Cups, 1* Eventing, Show Jumping Derbies, great National Horse Shows, and much more.
