I was given the second vaccination against Covid-19 yesterday. It was a second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. The whole process was very smooth at University Malaya.

Champion thoroughbred sire Galileo has been euthanised at the age of 23. Coolmore Stud announced Galileo was euthanised on humane grounds on July 10 because of a chronic, non-responsive, debilitating injury to his offside fore foot. He was reported to have had surgery on the foot earlier in the year.

My mother, Eileen Wong, turned 92 yesterday in Singapore. Through the Covidivide, we only could speak to her over the phone. This a photo of her taken on her birthday, wearing a new blouse for the occasion.
