Zack’s Tack will set up tents and provide some tables and chairs and fans. It is basically D.I.Y. – you do it yourself, so please bring your own tables and chairs too, if you like. It’s your day. You set up, and you sell your stuff.
We don’t take a cut or any commission on your sale. Zack’s Tack just provides the platform for bringing the community together. And we will provide some makan and minum. It’s not a party – don’t expect to get fed, but Zack’s Tack will have some coffee and cakes, and maybe Easter Eggs.
I have all sorts of things I know I will never use again, like my 350 gm Wintec Race Saddle. I’ve eaten steaks bigger than that, but I just can’t part with some of my treasured stuff, even though I know I will never use them again. Let’s see how practical I can get. I’ll have some equipment I will be selling – some bits and pieces, maybe a pair of top boots, polo mallets, mini chaps, and maybe even a Stuebben jumping saddle and a polo saddle, if I am a good boy and clean out my tack rooms.
I’m sure I’m not the only person to have hoarded stuff. It’s Marie Kondo time. I’m only going to keep what sparks joy.
Zack’s Tack is made up of horsemen who are are part of the community. Organising the Tack Room Garage Sale is just one way we are contributing to the polo and equestrian community in Malaysia.
