The qualifying matches of Thai Polo Masters currently being played at the Thai Polo & Riding Club in Pattaya, Thailand, yielded the same semi-final match-ups as the Thai Polo Open, held earlier in the month.  Thai Polo will face Royal Pahang, while La Familia will play Tang Polo.

Here is how they qualified:

What is interesting is that La Familia finally defeated Tang Polo 11 – 9 in their qualifying game of the Thai Polo Masters.  These two teams met twice in the Thai Polo Open, with La Familia losing 8 – 6 in qualifying and 10 – 8 in the semi-finals.

Thai Polo was taken to sudden death before they overcame a determined Royal Pahang team.

I expect Thursday’s semi-finals to be just as close as these four teams are so closely matched.
